🎯 Organic traffic refers to the visitors who land on your website through unpaid search results on search engines like Google, Bing, or Yahoo.

In simple terms:

  • It’s free traffic: Users find your site by searching for a keyword or phrase and then clicking on your website link from the search engine results page (SERP), not on a paid advertisement (which is called Paid Traffic).
  • It’s earned, not bought: This traffic is the result of effective Search Engine Optimization (SEO) efforts, which include creating high-quality, relevant content, optimizing your website’s technical performance, and building authority over time.
  • It reflects relevance and value: When a search engine ranks your page highly, it signals that the algorithm considers your content to be a relevant and valuable match for the user’s search query (their “search intent”).

Organic traffic is highly valued because it is cost-effective in the long run and tends to bring in highly qualified leads—people who are actively searching for the information, product, or service your website offers.
